Can’t believe the tenants wanted to stay as it was. Great refurbishment, it’s like night and day now, clean and modern for the future tenants. Would love to know what the EPC rating was matey? With the likelihood of Labour coming in I can imagine they’re going to push on with requiring rentals to be a high C at worst and likely a B down the line. It’s not been cheap but I’ve been slowly upgrading the rentals I have the last couple of years with this in mind.

Great content as always Yianni. I am surprised the guys recommended providing furniture and bedding to a standard rental for a family, this is usually reserved for HMOs . It’s usually the landlord’s responsibility to replace this which is more headache and further costs down the line.

Those bedrooms really are small! Two bedrooms upstairs with a bedroom / living room downstairs would have made more sense. People like to have their own personal space.
